Polished Concrete · Midtown, Atlanta
The Midtown Tech Corridor, Colony Square, and the 10th & Midtown district run on polished concrete — the finish that turns a slab into an asset. Forge and Finish densifies, grinds, and polishes to the spec your architect drew. Levels 1 through 4. Guard treatment available. OSHA-30 crews, 24-hour bid turnaround.
Midtown, Atlanta
Midtown Atlanta is one of the Southeast's highest-density mixed-use corridors — Colony Square, the Tech Corridor towers, 10th & Midtown, and the Crescent and 999 Peachtree district. The floors in these buildings are exposed concrete by design, and the polish level is a spec item on every TI, every time. We know the difference between Level 1 ground and Level 4 full aggregate — and we know which one your architect wants.
System Specs
First pass with metal bonds. Removes laitance, reveals aggregate sparingly. Matte finish, light reflection. Back-of-house, mechanical rooms, and parking structures where function matters more than appearance.
Second and third pass with resin bonds. Salt-and-pepper finish, 50–70% aggregate exposure. Standard for retail corridors, office lobbies, and hospitality common areas in Midtown class-A buildings.
Fine-resin finish, minimal aggregate exposure, high clarity cream surface. Spec'd for high-end office lobbies and hospitality venues where the warm grey concrete tone is the design statement.
Guard / Stain Treatment
Full aggregate exposure with successive metal and resin passes. Applied after densification. For Midtown mixed-use lobbies, retail showrooms, and class-A office floor plates where the slab is the primary visual finish.
